MEET JAMEELAH
Jameelah Henderson is an award-winning educator with over 14 years of experience, currently serving as principal in Louisville, KY. Throughout her career, Jameelah has demonstrated a strong commitment to educational excellence, previously holding roles as a Curriculum Developer, Instructional Coach, and Administrator in both Kentucky and Michigan public and charter schools. Her passion lies in creating environments where students and educators can thrive.

Jameelah’s expertise includes systemic thinking, instructional coaching, curriculum design, and leadership development. She is skilled in helping leaders identify strategies for growth, build collaborative teams, and implement sustainable practices to enhance their organizational impact.

In addition to her work in education, Jameelah is the CEO and founder of JHenderson Consulting, LLC, where she helps leaders from various fields elevate their leadership practices. She is also the founder of Love Light Lead, a faith-based community designed to support leaders who aspire to lead with love, integrity, grace, humility, and truth. Through this community, Jameelah shares monthly newsletters, resources, and her daily Glimmer messages—short, uplifting reflections meant to inspire and encourage leaders to stay anchored in their values.

Jameelah's leadership extends to her work as an author, with her book It’s Working for Your Good offering an inspirational perspective on faith, trusting God's plan, and discovering purpose through life’s challenges.

Jameelah is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education in Leadership, which she will complete in June 2025. She holds an Educational Specialist degree and a Master’s degree from Bellarmine University, along with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky.

Outside of her professional life, Jameelah enjoys traveling, creating lasting memories with her son, and spending time with family and friends. Everything she does, both personally and professionally, is driven by her core values of love, integrity, grace, humility, and truth, and her belief that each day is an opportunity to bring a little more light into the world.
